Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 4: Monday Drop Brings ₹6.25 Crore, Total Nears ₹100 Crore
The aerial action drama Sky Force, starring Akshay Kumar and debutant Veer Pahariya, experienced its first decline in box office collections on Monday. After a stellar opening weekend with earnings exceeding ₹60 crore, the film added ₹6.25 crore to its total on day four, bringing its domestic collection to ₹68.50 crore.
Day 4 Box Office Performance
The significant drop was anticipated as the first Monday followed the Republic Day holiday weekend. As per Sacnilk, Sky Force saw a steep 77% decline in collections compared to Sunday’s ₹28 crore haul. While Monday’s earnings settled at ₹6.25 crore, early estimates suggest the total domestic nett could surpass ₹75 crore once official figures are released.
Overseas Box Office Update
Sky Force has performed reasonably well in international markets, grossing $800,000 (approximately ₹6.5 crore) over its opening weekend. The film’s worldwide total stands at an estimated ₹90 crore after four days, driven by strong growth on its second and third days due to positive word-of-mouth. The makers now hope for a steady recovery in collections starting Tuesday.
About Sky Force
Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, Sky Force is inspired by the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air war and the attack on Pakistan’s Sargodha airbase. In addition to Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya, the cast includes Sara Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, and a special cameo by Nimrat Kaur.
As the film inches closer to the ₹100 crore milestone, it remains to be seen how it performs over the weekdays following its post-holiday dip.
