Following the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) raids on Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s properties in connection with an ongoing pornography case, Raj Kundra addressed the issue on social media, defending his wife’s name.

On Instagram, Raj shared a message clarifying his stance: “While the media seems to enjoy drama, let’s set the record straight: I am fully cooperating with the investigation that has been ongoing for the last four years. As for the allegations of ‘pornography’ and ‘money laundering,’ no amount of sensationalism will distort the truth. In the end, justice will prevail.”

Raj also addressed the media directly, stating, “It’s unacceptable to repeatedly drag my wife’s name into unrelated matters. Please respect the boundaries.”

Details of the ED Raid

The ED raids were conducted as part of a money laundering investigation linked to the alleged distribution of adult films. According to reports, the ED raided around 15 locations across Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh, including the homes and offices of Raj Kundra and his associates. Raj was reportedly questioned at one of the locations.

After the raids, Shilpa Shetty’s lawyer, Prashant Patil, issued a statement refuting the media reports that suggested Shilpa was involved in the case. He emphasized that Shilpa had “nothing to do with any offence” and described the reports as “misleading.” He added, “The investigation pertains to Raj Kundra, and he is fully cooperating with the authorities to bring the truth to light.”

Shilpa’s legal team further confirmed that the raids did not target her directly and reiterated her lack of involvement in any criminal activities related to the case.
