PM Modi at Niti Aayog Meet: ‘No Goal Impossible if Centre and States Work as Team India’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that no goal is unattainable if the Centre and state governments work in unison. Chairing the 10th Governing Council meeting of Niti Aayog, he stressed the importance of accelerating development through collaborative efforts.
“We have to increase the speed of development. If the Centre and all the states come together like Team India, no goal is impossible,” PM Modi stated during the meeting held under the theme ‘Viksit Rajya for Viksit Bharat@2047’.
Highlighting the collective aspiration of a developed India, Modi said, “When every state is Viksit (developed), then Bharat will be Viksit. This is the dream of its 140 crore citizens.”
Focus on Tourism Development
In a push to boost tourism, the prime minister urged states to identify and develop at least one tourist destination each, matching global standards in terms of infrastructure and amenities. “One State: One Global Destination,” he proposed, adding that this initiative would also help transform nearby cities into tourist hubs.
Empowering Women in Workforce
Addressing the need for greater women’s participation in the workforce, Modi called for inclusive policies and laws that ensure women are integrated respectfully and meaningfully into the labour force.
“We should formulate laws and policies that enable women to participate actively in the workforce,” he said.
The prime minister also emphasized the importance of implementing policies that directly improve the lives of common citizens. “When people experience change, it strengthens the momentum and turns it into a mass movement,” he noted, urging leaders to seize the opportunity to meet the aspirations of 140 crore Indians.
