The mastermind behind the breathtaking sari was renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra. His vision, however, wouldn’t have come to life without the exceptional skills of the artisans at Swadesh. Together, they created a masterpiece. The vibrant sari boasted a mesmerizing Charbagh pattern, a hallmark of classic Banarasi saris. This intricate and symmetrical motif, reminiscent of a flourishing garden, adorned the fabric meticulously.

Further enhancing the visual feast was the incorporation of vibrant meena work. This intricate embroidery technique, employing a multitude of colors, created a rich, multi-dimensional effect.

Taking to Instagram, Manish Malhotra offered a closer look at the intricate details of the sari. He delved into the symbolism of the Charbagh pattern, the painstaking application of the vibrant meena work, and the exquisite real gold varak work adorning the blouse.

The captivating sari wasn’t the only element that stole the show. The ensemble was further elevated by a unique and opulent blouse. Drawing inspiration from pichwai paintings, traditionally used as backdrops for Hindu deities, the blouse boasted a rich purple hue. This exquisite piece wasn’t simply a fabric; it was a work of art in itself.

Renowned artist Shehzad Ali from Kishangarh, Rajasthan, meticulously hand-painted the blouse, incorporating real gold varak work for an added touch of opulence. The meticulous detailing and use of precious materials on the blouse perfectly complemented the grandeur of the sari.
