Online travel and food guide Taste Atlas has shared its list of the 100 most iconic ice creams in the world.
“This list presents the 100 most iconic gelaterias and ice cream parlours that have left an indelible mark on the global dessert scene,” their website reads. And guess what? Five ice creams from Indian establishments have also made it onto the list.
Three Mumbai-based shops—Apsara, Naturals, and K Rustom & Co.—found a place on the list for their guava, tender coconut flavor, and ice cream sandwich, respectively. Corner House from Bangalore was ranked for its ‘Death by Chocolate,’ and Pabba’s from Mangaluru also took a prized spot on the list for ‘Gadbad.’
